Redd James is the captain of The Red Scorn. He is based in East Carrouban. He has a Letter of Marque issued by the Inquistadors (16P), and currently makes a living looting non-Inquistadors (16P) ships.

His older sister is Rose (Carrouban). He also has a younger brother, Rederick (Redd James' Brother), a medic on The Red Scorn. He is the second eldest of his siblings.
