This is an iron ball containing about 0.5 lbs. of blackpowder, in a metal shell (about 1.5 lbs). Cost is $20, weight 2 lbs. It deals 5d+1 damage to everything within 10 yards, using the rules for Explosions.

Takes a Ready manoeuvre to light the fuse (impossible in rain, etc.) – or five Ready manoeuvres if you must insert the fuse first! A blackpowder grenade detonates 3-5 seconds later, depending on fuse length.
