The party leave the edge of Freeport and go into the very dark (it's night) jungle with the Slippery Three. The caretaker's Shimmerscale is dragged by the tail by one (no-Tongue),and another one (no-ear) dragging the caretaker, and another one (eyeless alice) holding a flickering torch. It's a tiny barely-foot-trodden path.

Bruno Culina (William Chapman) asks Eyeless Alice (missing her left eye btw) in a hushed tone how they're planning to cook them and undermines them and their cooking abilities. Bruno says he can cook better, they say the party are welcome to leave if they don't like their cooking ability.

They want to use fire to move the property of "legness" from the caretaker and imbue it into their sister. Their magical methods are incoherent and inconsistent. They mention imbuing the statue with the legness, and that the fourth sister needs legs. Say the statue is her sister, etc.

When they were together as children the Slippery Three needed those legs. There'sd three of them, one statue (anotehr sister).

iT'S A DECENT 15-20 minujte walk through thick jungle.

Peg Meg-Leg walks up to tongueless one dragging shimmerscale. "Oi, you can't hold an animal like that". She reacheds and grabs the tail off her. Not in a fgighting way, but "Oi, this is how yhou handle the dinosaur". Tongueless lets pegmegleg take it. Still being dragged. Carefully stroking the back of the dinosaur but the dinosaur is uncosncous.

Can barely see in front of them. Aftger some time they see tghe sillouette againsxt a not-too-starry sky, the shapoe of what apepars to be an small veryh old stoine structure.

There's remnants of a wooden shelter. There are walls but in ruins with rnaom bitgs of ceremonial structure - old benches, etc. There's an actual makeshift altasr thing in the middle, and they can't see everything.

mARCco looks at iconography.

Get to the threshold of the temple. Can';t quite make out the symbols on the left side of the tample which was once half of the door- do know in some way from occultism there arfe depictions of a much older azcelani text that relates to how the temple was constructed, memorandi of teh temple was bien gbuiilt, either in a way showing how it was built, or either that it's indicativce of reverence for building.

The slippery 3 ignore the parrty as they go to the alter and put the caretaker onto the altar. Bruno goes with eyeless alice.

There is an altar which is almost like a stone strucvture, which is then has a gap, a thin stone slab. So it wojnh't ijnciunerate a body/slgiuthy burn it. Know from occultinsm Marco that fire is a very imoportant part of Azcelani rituats, allowes trandfer from one to aniother. tHEY'VE put the caretaker down, she's not unconscous but is sedated by trhe cvarious drugs thewy weerrew using. The shimmercale - not bring it tio the altar. Rob wants to set it down to the side near the shack. The shack is very rough wooden shack that wouldn't tka emuch to make it collapse. iNSIDE there's a door you can push popen ()more of a flat piece of wood you can move aisde0> Insdide, you can't really see, it's veryu dak, but smells of feces etcc. Dirty inside, not been clearned, urine, refuse, ertc. Not used as a toilet, buit more they've gone whereever they please.

Peg Meg-Leg uses teh chaiun to the dinosaur and holds the chain=.

Tonguyheless goes rto a shape ojn the floor tyhey can't quite see - appears to be a statue, in fron t of a large rbase structurte. THe size of a Montañero (10ft tall), but the statue felldown and is lying horizontal on rthe fdloor (AS IN, the legs were basically severed).

tHE APRTYH figure the caretakedr may have useful informatiojn they want. They knew where their own temple was.

PEGMEGLEG asks earless "i DON'T usppose you've heard fo other temples".

Eyelkess alice is adding ungent and powder to the legs of the caretaker.

Thyey'll smoke the woman up, and then bloodlet them and then make soup. Transfer legness to the statue, and the statue gets legs.

OcCULTIsm tells marco tthat the way Azcelani magic works, regrowth of limbs isn't something covered by metaphysicas, so the slippery three aredn't doing proper magujcf, and are rather misinformed about what's posisble.

tHEY ask about Belladonna, buyt the three are focussed on their ritual.

tHEY explaion one has legs, the statue does not, in order for them to truly esdcape, trhey lack the leg.. Legness will be eimbued into a fourth sister. They can see hear and speak, but they can't escape. TJhey mean in a metaphoprtocal way. So they can't regrow eyues ears and tongues etc. "The legs of the soul" will be regrown.

tHE Statue is one of them, even if they're not blopod relateds. Connectred spiritilly, they;'re all sisters under the eye. Them findgn this lefgless sister is imporetant. They foiund the sister ehre.

Eyuelesss alice will hgold the torch abvove the hjoriszontal statue - which is a statue of an incrediblby beauiful woman, transcendently b eautifgul, whoever originally sculpted it was a skilled sculptor and it was intended to be the perferct form. It's an azcelani woman in terms of desing. It's also very old, so not a conquistador thing. legles because it broke off the podiuum.

Involved when they ewere ytounger in a tirtual whjen they were ytounger - associatreed the los of body partsd with dsomerthing superanatuireal. Pegmegleg says her legg is missing ,you don;'t neeed true klegs, you just need peg legs.
.They say there's as difference bnetween losing your legs and losiung ytour legs. None of the legs they need to escape - they only hafvge mortal legs.

Ungents haver bneen applied to the base of the statue too - not tehr first time, it's caked in ungent layers and messs.
They say they'ver done it many times before but toi no success.

Eyeless holds the torch and sets fire to the altar underneath and they start whuispering in tongues.

Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz) says they're probably trying the wrong method - they're trying to replace physaical legs.

mARCO tries to convince them they're doing it wrong - they'verbeen using people without much spiritaul leg, hey need someone who is like a great travefller or TIED to having legs.

aS THEY chat clothes of ther caretaker starting to smoler. Start to smell of fcrispy meat

Marco says Freeport is full of many great priates ,who do a lot of traverlling. They haver freeodm and the essecne of secape they're seeking. They don't need some random caretaker, but a sgreatr pirate - a pirate lord perhaps.

They ask the party if they're pirates, because they are.

The aprty sugest Belladonna, she's got great legs.

The slippery three say yes, we can try her next if this doesn't work.

tHEY SAY they migthj be inssulting their god by doing imporopper sacrifice.

Bruno goes ot th estatue to weipe off some of the ungents TO show them it's not great procedure

Say they can do the dinosaur instead because the dinosaur can help find the supernatural that migth work for finding the right person to use for the ritual.

They agree fine, we'll imbue the air with leg but won't do the bloodletting, biut can use the dinosaur to try to work out if they can track down what they need and have someone with supernatural....

tHEY take the caretaker off the thing and put her to the side.

They get the shimmercale, Peg Meg-Leg draws her sword to get them to get away from Shimmerscale. Points at one-ear who is moviing to put the dino on top.

The Slippery Three say you're here to eat with us, and are now confused and agngry they're now not eating with them, tell them to leave. Bruno says they could get the magical power as well, and also they're very tired and need tro get to bed.

Peg Meg-Leg saysa "howe abvout we go and find a differnet dinosaur".

The slippery three don't have weapons themselves.

Tomngueless goes to grab a bucket of piss and throws it on the fire to put it out. Says "you all complaijn, you come heere as guests etc." We're eating for the magical powers, not he taste. Bruno tries to suiggest cooking it well.

Pegmegleg then draws her guynb behind her back as well.

eYELESSA extinguishes the torch and tongueless douses the fglames, and ionto daerkjnes, adn teh slippery three scatter into the forest.

bRUno's ring isn't glowiong btw.

They say Marco can stay and the others can go.

Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz) uses Pulo to track down the Slippery Three who are hiding in the forest.

bvRUNKo inspects teh ungents and finds it's made of tobacco powder, ash, and ground bonES.

Bruno gets an onion from his pocket and starts chewing.

pEGMEGleg tries to pull the dino off teh altar, gropes around and able to feel the dinodsauir which is uncosncous and reasonably warm.

mARCO has a closer look at the dino - the base dinosaur is basically the dino ewquivalent of a bloodhounD, WHICH I guess could have the shiummerscale supernaturtal-finding effect if it's a Mutite-imbued creature.

Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz) SAYSX THE Slippery Three aren't their enemies, but Peg Meg-Leg says they're enemies to humanity., However eeventually agree it's fine.

Bruno Culina (William Chapman) makes a new fire, and gets a pot out.

They know where the chained hag ship is, know htey'll come back, so debarte waiting at the Chained Hag ship.

They realsiethey migth need to find the other temple, the witches might know, dedbate whetrher to track them down.

cARErtaker is coming out of unconscuousness. Caretaker in smouldering clotrhes. Peg Meg-Leg has her head rested on her lap, checks her head and lookign for head-based-wopunds. No major open wounds, damge toi the bck of hte head from where it's been resting on the warm stone, but doesn't have open weoujnds. Hit in the head by Edward Jenkins to knock her out. She's still somewhart sedated, eyes not fully responsible, pupils dilated, etc. BUT THE sedation effeecdtr is wearing off.

Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz) GGOES TO TRAFCK DOWN THE Slippery Three WITH pulo. SAYs they hacve Peg Meg-Leg under control (says Peg Meg-Leg is missing her soul-brain). Bruno Culina (William Chapman) cooks the onions. "sORRY, they;re not iniutiated,d on't know ht etrue nature of the world", they say "we can't leave our sisterr hungry, no time to go back and find beladonna, we want sacrifice todfayh, otehrwise she doesn't eat". It's been a few days since the last sacrifice, the srtatrue hungers. Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz) Also asks them about Amokuali Temple, a ruined temple with the icon of the bat. They say "yes, it's far from here". iF ON A riding dinosauir then faster but by foot could be a 16-hour trek through the jungle. They say they can just stay hewre for sacrifice and temples.
They sayt o tread carefully - tyhe temple is abandoined, not safe, haunted. Staying there and helping hte Slippery Three doing real magic etc. is better. mARCO says he'll go and bgvrign them back a powerful sacriifce. Watch your head when you go there, it's ignored for decades by conquistaan and azcelani both. There are a few nearbyu vcillagfes - coulkd get a local guide to know where to go.

The temple is far inland, not even on the coast either. IN AN area atop a hill, a very grreaqt temple once bujt it's dark inside. The bat...the bat...It's south of here.

(Meanwhile, marco and peg-meg-leg wondewr wehether the reason all teh pirates were fleeing Freeport was becsuase maybne a local volcasno is aboujt to erupt.)

They put Shimmerscale into the flame. Bruno gives them an onionm, theyt appreciatre the flavour and taste even if thee's no deep magic inviolvced in the onions.

bREUNO asks why tyhey go for people and not insects wsith lots of legs. They say they don't need to fly like a bee - they weant human legs too.,

The caretaker doersn't have consciojusness enouhgh to know what's going on, still in a daze. Bruno gets portable cooking utensils. One of the Slippery Three goes to the sdhack and gets some grubby looking cultery. Bruno butchers the Shimmerscale WITH hi sown knives, and the dino dies. A decent meal is made. He adds a secret ingredient. Marco knows what it is (the finger of Edward Jenkins' crewmate).

Evenmtually caretakewr getrs a bnearing of her surroundngs, and doesn't seem to care so much about her dinosdaur being butchedred, she's happy to start eating some of it and will after a few bites will srtsart stggerign to her feet and will limp across to rest srtnading against the old furnuire that was once a bunch.

The in-game time is 4am. Realise they needd to quickkly find some ridign dinosaurs. They don't have much luqiod wealth ot their name either. They wondfer if they can use Tlali and go up a river - possibl to shave off a few hours that wayh., Wonder if they can sleep on Tlali. bUT ALSO then even thoiugh they can't go all the way, they would still have to navigatged throuhghvery foggy bog. So they'd need a local guide.

They realise they can ask the caretaker about where the temple is. Thje caretaker realises the dinosaur was her pet, her dear "Softfeather". She's very special to me, I had a unqioeu bond with her, do you knowwhat she could do" - pEGMEGLEG interjects to say "she could see spirits and auras", and the caretaker agrees. Pegmegleg apologises to her foir what happened to her dinosaur. Let's get abck troi freeport the caretaker says, says this place doens't seem safe. PEGMegleg isngores this plea and asks abotu the freeprot scholar namE. tHE PARTY IMPLY thjey're going to kidnap her and take her to Amokuali Temple temple.

pEGmegleg says she was fouhd outside someone who caretaker was caretaking for. Caretaker says they were grewat friends wikth the scholar, but th ehgome was ransacked by the chained hags. Cretaker says they'vfce always been trouble. Theyh start walkng to Freeport. Pegmegleg says they're goiong to murderr teh shcolar becaus erhe knows secrewt arcane knwoedfge, and also m,urder grizzlebeard. cARETker has no idea what special knoweeldgfer the schgolar knew, said it wqs nothiogn special he was lookign at. What was he reading in the lead-up to the ransack? sAYUS A mystical bnanner of some kind, there's a god, the flayed god, it's his skin that's ujsed for the war banner, and those inspired buy its presenced, it imbues witht he spirit of war and strength and bloodshed, one fo the manty legends thje scholar researched. THE SCOLAR - she hoppes he's okay. She asks why the party are interested in the scolar, says they seem liek chancers like all other priates. Pegmegleg says tehy have moral code, the caretaker questionsd whatr moral code that might be. Pegmegleg says they foudn a mob of piraters mobbing in the street and stopped it (a lie, of course - as they instigastered the mob) and said "rthat's not on". The caretakedr did hear there was dfisorder in the city, and weas copnsicous until Edward Jenkins TURNED uP. The caRETAKER wants to know how long she'd been out for Peg Meg-Leg says just a night . Peg Meg-Leg SAYSthey're asfter a treasure and a guy, they also want to rescre the scholar and also rescue grizzlebeard. THe caretaker says Grizzlebeard is a pretender, he has this image of being hoinorable and really he's a terribel man, "don't trust a word that comes from his mouth, all liars have beards, which is why pirate s love themn, if you can';t see half his face, let alone half his torso, what does her have to hide? It covers the heart and mouth." Caretaker wsayus she weants to goi home and sleep and mourn the loss of Softfreather. The party says they can take her home, she says she stays with th escolar. tThe caretaker wsays "why were they there? red james' crew said somethign was there". Peg Meg-Leg pretends to not kno w who redd james is. Caretaker complains she's had so much bad luck befall her and wants to stayh in palce and not do anythijng. Bruno Culina (William Chapman) suggesarts she joins their crew,. She asks who that is, bvruno saus she wonj't knowhim, he's a small-time captain. She says she can clean on the ship, but is staRING Blankkly ahead, her loved pet of many years has been cooked and eaten, her friendasnd scolar has been kidnapped.

tHE APrty tell the caretaker tehres will be people coming to interroage her for her info on teh scholar (irfonically also interrogating her for info haha). The caretaker just wants to get to freeport, tehy get to freeport.

tHJE APRTYT realise the caretaker is a local, and then realise matybne they sshopuld ask the caretaker the way to the rtemple. The caretaker saYS "nORMALLY WHEN i GO THROUGH THE BOG asnd I'm helping the scolar, we'd use softfeather to see the way trhe sdupernatral takes to avoid dangers that way".

Marco thinks softfeather isn't magical so isn't sure hopw to sqaure thiso all uP, WONDERs if maybe he's misidentified the way the Shimmerscale effect works.

The cxaretaker sayas when she gets back she can try to find a fdrieednw ho has one of the Shimmerscales. sHE THEN asks the party what they knowe abotu the old man. Waht do tehy know.

bRUINO says "She sounds really intersted in this old man", and then he realises "well she is becomign a member ofi the crew". She insists on knowing. POegmeglewg says he's relarted tothe Doña Isabel del Oro and asks what the caretakewr knows abohtu the del oro. TRhe caretaker is like "And how are they connected?" Pegmegleg wonders if the old man is Doña Isabel del Oro's son or something and her kids have been cursed to grow old instantly so they can't surpass ehr.

The caretaker is like "If you're going on this jouirnewy and your'e going to be fundign the cost of bedding etc. I can't jujst get on a ship and find otuj ther's no leads and nohtjing" - she asks "whhat does erveryoner know, and what do you know that everyone doesn'T". They say they know the full puzzle, others know fragmenrts, and they'll know more once they rescue the scolar. The scholar's names is Bennett by the way.

Caretaker says "Grizzxlebneards - everyone thinks he'll be a pillar oof the community, but he'll shake ytour hand with one and stab in the back WITHT EH other. Says Grizzlebeard stabbed Bennet's wife and Grizzlenbeard threatrened to kill the caretaker if she tells Grizzlebeard. Watch out for that guy"

It's now 4:30am in the moning. Bruno suggests sleeping and waiting fo rthe others to come back. Marco wantrs to go down th erivcer...

The caretakear is confused and akss whether they think Tlali is their ship. She says she'll hafve to pass. The party say tlali is the rowboat and THE CAREtaker wants to see the ship. The parryt say the ship is outside of port, so they can't see it. pEGMEGleg wanrts to get weapons and crewmates....

Pegmegleg stops by her apartment to get an old man costume, hopijng to do a bait-and-switch later on.

TRhe caretaker says "i't sbeen a pleasure asnd thanks for getting me out of there". bRUNO says "You're coming with us". cARETAKER SAYS "I don't see a boat and if you're goijng somerwhere dangerous i DON'T Wanmt to go therte."
cARETAkedr says "Explain to me where youre' going?"
Bruno sauys "We're going to rescrube your friejnd GBennett"
cRETAKER "He's been kidnapped through"
Bruno: "He's not been kidnapped, he went willingly with Grizzlebeard"
Caretaker "But girzlzlebeard will be dangerous, he's with his whole crew. Ther'es no way he'd go alone. He's gone out to wehere thouhh? YHou can't just tell me to go out in the middle of nowhere? What do you knowe abotuj the temple and where it is? If it's the Amokuali Temple I dojn't want any part of it, that's too spopoky"

Marco realises tehy don't have anytr5hing she wants. bruno suggests maybne threatenijng her, but Marco says if they do so she might lead them wrong.
cARETker "Look, I get the sense that I'm going to end up being used as cannon fodder when I get to this temple, you'll be too scared to go in and yhoiu'll force me to go in first."
pEGMEGLEG: We're the only ones sety on rescruiong youjr friend. All these other priaters don't care about hium. We need you tyo help us get there."
cARETAKER: "I dont' want to be shoved into a temple".
Bruno: "hOW ABOTU when we get there, you can stay outside nice and safe"
Marco: "wE LOVE danger ,we'll go in frist".
Caretaker: "I have a friende herE, i NEED SOME kind of depoisit perhas, anything valuiabvle such that if I donj't get back it's of sdome consequence to you"
Pegmegleg offers her stuffed parrot.
Caretaker says who would vouch for them AS THEy've eaten her pet etc.
BRUNO says he can go tio the cook in the piurate club. rouse him- in the middle of hte nightg, and the ghuy is like "Cerazy hour, who are these, and who is this lass (caretasker) with youj". He syas caretasker dcan't go in unless she passes the priate thing. BGut she easily succeeds, she shows off her knife skill.

The cook asks if the party have found their treadsure yet, and wherther they got into trouble for "that incident earlier". The party try to paper it over and gestujre for the cook to not talk about it (because they told the caretaker earleir that they broke up the mob, raterher than incited it). He says "Oh i mean when you spilled the sauce on the floor earlier". Caretaker is confiused as to what's going on. She's no win a kitchen at 5 n the morning. Pegmegleg says "this guyu knows we're trustworthy". Vouch for what, says sth echef - your combat skills? BRUNO sauys "no, your trustworthyness", the chef hesitates, "hMNM....WHO Is eshe exactly". The aprt realised they never asked forhger nmame. The caretaker says "My name is Carrie Takeson, Carrouba is my long-frm name, I'm named after Carrouban". The chef is called Matthew Clever (but he alwauys misspells it Meat Cleaver). he sys "Yes, they're trustworthy, they have good vibees, they came here and I let them use my kitchen and they made a very nice meal". Carrie says "So they got your dunosaur too?" Matt says "No, IT WEAS fish dish". Carrie syus "I just need to be sure thety're not going to shove me into the nearest pit trap or crushing room or poision dfart tyhing, I've hjad enough of that in my life." Martt: "I don't kmkow anything about that, I'venever seen them sdhove sdomeone into danger and put them into unnecesasary harm". He looks shifty but she at least sees it as "finE, IF this guy voicuyeshfro you then fine, but MAtt, if I don't return, tell my familky that I will see them on the other side with softfeather". She's not hesitant enough to leave so sticks aroudn tweith th eparty and aksks to see the ship. tHEY SAY they can pu ther on the back of the duinoras tro take her to the ship. bruno thanks them a s theyh leave and gives him $5. Matt says "I don't like to lie like that, I can't do thast again, I CAN'T have my honour be tarnished" (i.e. thefabvour has now been used).

tHEY don't knowwhether to committo the boart or see whetrher theyh can maybe fly there on Swooping Terrors. THEY don't have enough money rthough. And any time trying to find money is time they're not going down the rriver. Pegmegleg only has like $45 on heR at the moment. sHE DOES know that up near the fort of Freeport there's a ledfge where the Swooping Terror place would be based (liek the service)=, there'd normally be 4-5 of them in service at one time at somwehreer like Freerport for more expsansiver journeys. They get up there and it's just her friend Lazarro Altaviti.

PML: Where have they gone?
Laza: Oh, you havren't heard? Gustavo, Montañero Pirate Lord is beseiging the port! Thyat's why everyone was scabbling in the posort to load all their thingsd, he's probasbly woreked out from info poliferatrioin that the old man and treasure has pinned people to freeport, so people are trying to leave before the seige is fully set up. He can't attakc it without risking himself, but thios is soooo improtant now. Note - guistavo isn't a pirate lord thohugh. The two pirates trying to lerave were the two that Belladonna is better than. The two weak ones hafve basically fled in fear.
PML: yOU HAVE any spares?

PML: We need it rightr now, it'll pauy off in a weeke

PML: I know you alwayhs keep spares for an emergency.
Will take an about an hour there and an hour back if they really push it, otherweise a couple hours if we allow a rest along the weayh.

Tlali would be 1.5x as fast forhte leg of the jounrey on the river, not sure how long it'd be. In all entirelty leading up the bank of the temple it'd be like 9-12 hours.

L: Let me in more of your plan ,i Must know.
PML: Any way we casn get two dinos?
L: Crazy, I domn't even have one!

They work out that they can do it in a few trips. Two people + lazarro each time, and then a final trip with the caretaker, lazaarro and their equipment. lAZARRO is abgout 130lbs. tWO PEOPLE Can go with zewro eequipment asnd jusrt their boduies and a cahngfe of clothes. Three journets where one carries equipment.

PML sayus it's alife or death quest. L ASKS if it'll be dagenosu for him. They say no.
L akss if they're lookign for the old man they were talking about ealrier.
L says in exhcvangvr tfor the jhourenety, wants half the $100k bounrty Doña Isabel del Oro said.
PML says "20%"
PML leaves and gets the others. The party ask how expensive. PML says half the treasure, gbRUNO sauys they can get him on a tedchnicaloirtyt IN THAT tyhey're not getting hte old man for the bounty.

PML and the crew returns, and L stsartrs to ask what happened to the crew, and Bruno coughs to suggewst L should not assk aboit his clientele (in case he makjes them seem untrustworth to the caretaker). PML is like "Ah you know, we're trusrtworthy and always trransaporent with you". L is like "Well, you know I heards about earlier" (and is cut off).

PML wants three round trips, L saays he can queue for them.

L asks where they're heading. bRUNO saysd "the bogs". l: "THE BOGS are large place." bRUNOI "wE'LL trell you once we agree on price". Pulo goes with PML and theyt get there unharmed. On their way, they see a fire down below. The toches from the rabble are about to arrive. On the way, a few hundred yuards from teh temple.
Bruno Culina (William Chapman) and Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz) didn't see the lighjtnign strike biut there's a lot of lightning so they probably just missed it.
The rider spots the downed Swooping Terror, and is stressed about his pay etc. aSKS if his friends did that to the swooping terror, PML is like "no, it must be the lightnbing".
Theyu gop down to inspect, and as they're about 50ft from the ground - Bruno (Will Chapman's Character) and Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz) see the dino circling when ligtning flasheS.
tHEY ARRIVe at the base of a tree - a nice tall tree. And art the bottom - a small fire of sorts. tHE DINosaur has been burning for a bit now, and its bodyt is twitching with clear nervousd system damage. KLazedrro is unconsciuous and also twitcfhing and very very burned. They see Carrie, she's not sustained as many injuiries as before - maybe a bruise here and trhere, but no twidtching or burns/fire other than the ones from the sLIPERY three. Bruno Culina (William Chapman) wonders who might have thrown the sack into the water, and looks for tracks, but they can't find any ijn the darkness. There's a dragging mark of the bag from the crash site, was probably dragged over the tracks, and their path to trhte site already might havce messed up tracks on the way.
