Fernando Gonzalez (Dino Pilot)

Fernando Gonzalez is a professional Swooping Terror rider associated with Freeport’s hangar.

He wears a patched leather flight coat and heavy wooden flight goggles, and smokes.

Work and temperament

Fernando is strongly motivated by pay and resents arrangements that prevent him from earning. For risky private work, he prefers a fixed payment to a promised share of an uncertain reward.

He is willing to consider unofficial flights when the prospect of keeping the fee outweighs his regard for his employer’s rules

Skills

Fernando can handle a Swooping Terror carrying passengers or a restrained captive. He reacts quickly to danger and can attempt an immediate takeoff when threatened.

Service to Belladonna

Fernando and his Swooping Terror were captured aboard the Chained Hag. Belladonna Velenza compelled him to serve her, promising payment but denying him the freedom to work for anyone else.

The administrator of Freeport’s hangar subsequently formalised this arrangement as a retainer. Fernando remains attached to the mount, which Belladonna Velenza may use as her personal transport. Flight payments pass through the hangar, leaving Fernando with a comparatively small share.

The arrangement remains subject to emergency requisition of the mount by the Pirate Lords.
