To the rank-and-file of the Inquistadors (16P), the Montañeros are a divine miracle - holy enforcers known as "Caelor's Chosen Warriors" who embody the physical perfection of the faith. Standing between 7 and 9 feet tall and possessing the strength of six men, these sixteen elite soldiers are the ultimate deterrent against both Azcelani "savages" and Conquistadors (16P) rebels.

Officially, the Inquistadors (16P) leadership describe the Montañeros as being forged through pure devotion and rigorous discipline within the secluded halls of Fort Veridian. However, a darker rumour persists among those who dare to whisper: that these giants are not born of prayer, but of a blasphemous union between Inquistadors (16P) experimentation and the forbidden arts of an Azcelani Mountain Socerer It is whispered that the Montañeros are the result of selective breeding and controlled, high-intensity exposure to Imbued Mutite - the very "witchcraft" the Inquistadors (16P) claim to abhor.

The Inquistadors (16P) maintain an iron grip on this narrative. Any scholar or soldier who points out the biological impossibility of the Montañeros, or suggests a link to Imbued Mutite-driven mutation, is swiftly charged with heresy and "disappeared" by the Holy Office.
