Treasures Age Old - Session 1 Player Recap

Campaign Day 01/05/Y120:

Begins with the party being captured and taken as slaves by Redd James, an Inquistadors (16P)-aligned slaver-privateer. Redd James takes the party to Áurea Isle, and the party overhears that Doña Isabel del Oro has specifically requested old men also be brought to the island - and despite limited room on the ship Redd James ensures he keeps as many old men as possible.

Campaign Day 1, 02/05/Y120

The party is taken to a slave compound for processing, and have metal collars riveted round their neck, and chains round their hands and ankles. Two guards, Portly Pedro and Skinny Sebastién, stand watch outside with a Conquistan Mastiff.

An East Azcelani slave enters - Golden Petal, who seems to be in better shape than other slaves. She takes away one of the old men shackled with the party, and asks about his past, though appears to lose interest quickly.

When Golden Petal leaves, the party sings as a distraction, while pulling one end of the chains out of its wall pin. Skinny Sebastién enters, and as a display of force/authority, bludgeons Def Beard to unconsciousness.

The wall pin comes loose, and the party attacks Skinny Sebastién, sending him unconscious (approx. -15HP), after Vegas' Character knocks Skinny Sebastién's helmet over his eyes, and Bruno (Will Chapman's Character) stabs him in the neck with a Skinny Sebastién's own Daga. Vegas' Character leaves the barrack to attack Portly Pedro while Gunther Gomez (Rowland Sadler) tries (but fails) some Diplomacy before also attacking Portly Pedro, sending him unconscious.

Golden Petal is ordered by Portly Pedro to re-enter and aid Skinny Sebastién - she attempts First Aid, but is "helped" by the untrained Polonius Fumke (Jack Richardson) and Bruno (Will Chapman's Character), but the help causes further issues. However, she is able to succeed eventually. A Conquistan Mastiff enters the barracks. This seems to terrify Golden Petal, and the party shackle her in her stupor. The Conquistan Mastiff is rendered unconscious.

Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz)'s companion Pulo is called and wrestles free from his bindings by a dog kennel, while the handler unlocks the dog cage to release three more Conquistan Mastiffs.

Meanwhile, Vegas' Character tackles an Inquistadors (16P) running away. Gunther Gomez (Rowland Sadler) catches up to help.

Meanwhile, Pulo catches up, but two of the Conquistan Mastiffs also begins to attack him. Gunther Gomez (Rowland Sadler) attacks one of the Conquistan Mastiffs, knocking it down.

The remainder of the party exit the room collecting weapons along the way.

The remaining Conquistan Mastiffs eventually flee. Pulo and Dino Wrangler (Oscar Katz) attempt to corner one, and it is killed.

Then with the Fusil Ordinaires recovered from Skinny Sebastién and Portly Pedro the party shoots the two guards on the walls and the gatekeeper guard tosses us the keys to the massive gate in exchange for his life.

On the way out, the party frees all the other slaves (39 of them, not including the party themselves). The alarm has been sounded.
