Rainbow Chasers

The Rainbow Chasers are nomadic Azcelani who dedicate their lives to following the great Quetzalcoatl.

Travel

They follow the largest serpents on Swooping Terrors and other flying mounts. Their movements are guided by the creatures they pursue rather than a fixed settlement or ordinary trade route.

Religious purpose

The Rainbow Chasers revere Quetzalcoatl as divine beings and living sources of spiritual guidance. Following a serpent’s flight is therefore a religious undertaking. The creature acts as a living compass for their journeys.

Relationship with the serpents

The Rainbow Chasers follow the Quetzalcoatl rather than keeping them captive. This accords with the wider sacred status of the creatures: captivity is forbidden in most Azcelani cultures.
