Ancient Azcelani Stonecraft

Ancient Azcelani builders possessed a sophisticated method of stonework and engineering that has since been lost.

Their surviving structures can remain sound after thousands of years. Internal mechanisms and elaborate contraptions may still function long after their builders’ settlements have been abandoned.

Possible use of Mutite

The technique is believed to have involved Imbued Mutite, although its precise methods are unknown. Many surviving sites affect nearby plants and animals, creating altered ecosystems both around and within the ruins. These effects make otherwise well-preserved structures dangerous to explore.

Surviving examples

Ancient buildings exist throughout Carrouban - see Ruins of Azcelan. Some have been reused by later Azcelani communities, while others remain hidden beneath jungle vegetation.
