Glass Dancing Duels

Glass-Dancing Duels are a competitive form of the Dance of Crimson Feet.

Two dancers perform on separate glass panes. One introduces a movement; the other must reproduce it and add another. The sequence passes back and forth, increasing the demands on both performers.

The contest continues until one dancer falters and their glass breaks.

The duel combines technical competition with the dance’s religious significance: the integrity of the glass is understood as an indication of grace and divine favour.
