Introduced Animals in Carrouban

The arrival of the Conquistadan Empire brought foreign animals into Carrouban, where dinosaurs already occupied many of the roles familiar animals filled elsewhere.

Conquistan Mastiffs

The Conquistan Mastiff is the most prominent introduced animal identified in the setting’s creature notes. Mastiffs serve as guard and pursuit animals, including at slave compounds on Áurea Isle.

Horses

Doña Isabel del Oro keeps white horses imported from Conquistadan. Her attachment to them and their use in punishments distinguish them from ordinary working animals in her household.
