Conquistadan Regency Council

The Conquistadan Regency Council governs the Empire during the minority of The Inquisitor King.

Formation

The council’s rule followed the Inquisition-backed coup against Alfonso around Y114 and the installation of a child monarch.

Cardinal Rodrigo

Cardinal Rodrigo heavily dominates the council and exercises substantial power through it. He is Alfonso’s younger brother and a central figure in the Inquisition faction opposing the Loyalists during the Conquistadan Civil War.

Colonial opposition

In Carrouban, the Ruling Twins of Caelor's Garden continue to rule in Alfonso’s name and oppose the Inquisition-aligned forces associated with Fortress Veridian.
