Alfonzo

Alfonzo is an elderly man tattooed as an imitation of Little Foot, the man sought by Doña Isabel del Oro. His tattoos were made by Inkfeather as part of the trade in counterfeit claimants to Doña Isabel del Oro’s bounty.

The copied tattoos

The design centres on the heart and branches along the arteries, reproducing the appearance of a regional Azcelani life-story tattoo.

Although recognisable as a copy, its supposed writing consists of broad shapes rather than meaningful text. It appears to have been reproduced without understanding the original script.

Belief about Áurea Isle

Alfonzo expected to be taken to Áurea Isle, where he believed he would receive a house won in a competition. It is unclear how much he understood about the bounty scheme.

After being taken aboard The Red Scorn, he was moved from the brig to the medical bay at Polonius Fumke’s urging. He subsequently accompanied the group ashore in Freeport, where he parted ways with the crew.
