Lazarro Altaviti

Death

Lazarro’s Swooping Terror crashed during a storm while carrying Carrie Takeson and equipment towards Amokuali Temple. The real reason for the crash was Carrie Takeson poisoning him and his mount.

He survived the initial crash but lay unconscious and severely burned beside the dying animal. Bruno Culina then cut his throat.

His death and the loss of the mount became grounds for wanted notices against the adventurers involved. Notices at Freeport’s hangar commemorated him as a pillar of the community. He was known to Peg Meg-Leg as an acquantance.

Storm precautions

Lazarro Altaviti warned passengers against carrying or brandishing large metal objects during storms. He attributed an earlier rider’s death to a passenger brandishing weapons during severe weather. This was his explanation of that accident, rather than an independently established account of its cause.
