You can roll against Beam Weapons (Pistol) or Guns (Pistol) – you must specialize – to pistol-whip people. Treat this as a punch with Brass knuckles. You can also parry melee attacks at (shooting skill/2) + 3, and even use this parry when slapping aside guns in close combat (see p. B37).
