You make extra items in your spare time, know how to bargain shrewdly, or have someone (possibly an ally or henchman) with appropriate abilities. Regardless of the details, at the start of every game session, you get $100 × level worth of “universal” consumable gear. This category of consumables includes projectiles, potions, and things like rations or torches, plus throwing knives, shuriken, and similar “one use” weapons.

Optionally, when this advantage is taken, one or more levels may be devoted to a specific type of consumable gear. For those levels, the final value of what you get per level increases as follows:

Specify the type and levels purchased in the trait description on your character sheet.

Example: A thief decides to take Consumables (4 Universal; 4 Specific Class, Major healing potions) [8]. This version provides $400 worth of consumable items and $800 worth of major healing potions.

This power-up allows the thief to have made, purchased, or otherwise acquired gear that might not be available in town normally.
