Campaign Day 1 (continued), 02/05/Y120

The party lay low on The Red Scorn for a couple days during the Inquistadors (16P) lockdown of the port and departing vessels - not wanting to risk attack from the Inquistadors (16P) ship if leaving the harbour unvetted. The party learn more about Redd James' crew - all are big fans of "The Game", and have some kind of connection to Redd James' parents/family, who sponsor their adventures in Carrouban. During this time Gertrude Gomez helps to remove the party's slave collars.

Campaign Day 3, 04/05/Y120

After a few days of contemplation, Redd James sets sail for Caelor's Garden. We discover Rose (Carrouban) is related to Redd James and Polonius Fumke (Jack Richardson) teaches the crew a game he invented.

On route we come across a ship which appears to be a fishing vessel, but it's suspicious. We send a small scouting party (Barry Cuda (Sam Bebbington), Bruno, Marco, Gunther Gomez (Rowland Sadler)) to the island the vessel is anchored by.

On reading the island, the scouting party supplies up in two. Barry Cuda (Sam Bebbington) and Bruno going one way, Marco and Gunther Gomez (Rowland Sadler) going the other.

Barry and Bruno have the element of surprise on the two pirates and their dog they noticed on the other side of the rock. Barry aims his musket at the dog, and blows its head into a million pieces. Bruno drives in, knives drawn, but slips and falls down.

Meanwhile, Marco and Gunther Gomez (Rowland Sadler) begin their attack on their opponents. Gunther Gomez (Rowland Sadler) readies his musket, Marco charges in to attack the Conquistan Mastiff. The Conquistan Mastiff then attacks Marco who successfully dodges.

Despite lying on the ground, Bruno readies his knives and attacks one of the pirates ankles, attacks, crippling the pirate.

Gunther Gomez (Rowland Sadler) does slay a pirate, them out instantly.

Barry Cuda (Sam Bebbington) switches to swinging for the final pirate on their side, aims at their chest and fires. Again hitting sending the pirates unconscious. All enemies on their side are dead.

Marco continues to attack the dog with his knives, hacking and slashing unity eventually the dog falls.

The final pirate runs away.

Polonius Fumke (Jack Richardson), who is still in the shop, fires grape shot at the enemy ship which has made its way around the island. The enemy ship returns fire and grazes Polonius Fumke (Jack Richardson).

Meanwhile Barry Cuda (Sam Bebbington) collects the Pirate Bombs of the pirates he killed and tosses one at the fleeing pirate that is running past on the other side of the rock, knocking him unconscious.

Polonius Fumke (Jack Richardson) is “assisting” Redd James’ decisions during the naval battle… and they start two flee rounds a nearby island. Leaving Barry, Bruno, Marco, and Gunther on the island.

The scouting crew begin to chase after the enemy ship in the dinosaur. Meanwhile, the enemy ship fires again, hitting the cargo and the rigging, which Polonius Fumke (Jack Richardson) is still clutching causing him to fall to the deck (still clutching the rigging).

The scouting crew arrived at the enemy ship, with 22 litres of molasses which luckily appeared. We make a sticky bomb with the Pirate Bombs and launch it at the rudder. The rudder explodes and is clearly listing. The enemy ship loses all control.

The enemy ship grounds itself on one of the small islands and continues to be subject to fire from The Red Scorn - the munitions are hit and the enemy ship explodes. Around 10 of the pirates survive, evacuating onto the island.

The scouting crew arrive on the island and round up three young men and four old men.

1 young man was killed by pulo, the other 2 escape into the island.

Before we leave we salvage tin and wood from the wreckage of the enemy ship ($7500 worth).

As we leave we interrogate the old men to identify which is of interest. A confusing interrogation ends up with the party discovering that one of the old men is a tattooed lookalike for the old man Doña Isabel del Oro is after. We eventually discover the old man of interest is at Freeport - and decide to go there instead of continuing to Caelor's Garden.
