Under interrogation, Jolliver said that Redd James and his companions had discovered a way out of the city during Gustavo, Montañero Pirate Lord’s blockade.
They departed in a small, unmarked sailing-and-rowing boat and headed towards the river. Their plan was to obtain a larger vessel beyond the blockade and send someone back to guide the remaining crew out.
