This is one of the largest non-Primordial land-based carnivores in Carrouban. They are both feared and respected.
They are incredibly difficult to tame, and very difficult to keep as a pet. At best, you can bind one (with great difficulty) in the hopes of unleashing it, starved, into enemy formations, but it's often not worth the trouble. There are some (very powerful) Azcelani who ride these, but this is an exceptionally rare feat.
It appears in many myths and legends in Azcelani culture. For example, South Azcelani (16P) see the Devouring Tyrant (particularly Primordial Creatures ones) as a manifestation of Cuetzpalteōtl.
